PARADES
Historic French Quarter Easter Parade, April 9
The Historic French Quarter Easter Parade starts at Antoine's Restaurant at 9:45 a.m. and heads to St. Louis Cathedral for Mass at 11 a.m. Mass. Come see mule-drawn carriages and lots of old convertibles with riders in Easter bonnets throwing stuffed bunnies and other Easter treats to the kids. After the service, there is a promenade in Jackson Square.
French Quarter Easter Parade, April 9
This procession will begin at 1 p.m. at the the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel at corner of St. Louis and Royal. From there it will continue down Royal to Bienville, then turn on Bourbon to St. Phillip, and then head back at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel. Come enjoy fun costumes, floats, bands, beads, and Easter throws. Details.
