Mardi Gras World
Experience Mardi Gras behind the scenes. The entire family will be amazed to learn how the gorgeous, giant Mardi Gras floats are made. Kern Studios, the genius behind the magic, has been in the float building business since 1947.
Not only will you walk through a massive indoor facility where the floats are built from the ground up, Mardi Gras will come to life. Your family will get to dress up in elaborate Mardi Gras costumes, eat free King Cake, and watch a historic video about the origins behind Mardi Gras! Bring your camera. This is an experience you’ll want remember for years to come!

Audubon Butterfly Garden & Insectarium
Use all five senses as your family explores the largest insect museum in North America. Learn why insects are the building blocks to all of life on Earth. You’ll explore thousands of
specimens (live and preserved) as you examine the vastly different shapes, sizes, and colors of the largest group of animals on the planet.
You’ll shrink to bug size within the Insectarium as you wander through a Louisiana swamp and be captivated by thousands of butterflies in an Asian garden.

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas
Your family will experience aquatic life in the most vivid and unique way as you walk beneath a Caribbean Reef, explore Adventure Island, feed a stingray, and journey the Mighty Mississippi River. Behold penguins, sharks, stingrays, and other deep-sea creatures as you wander through the aquarium.
