TOUCH-A-TRUCK® Rolls into the Alario Center November 14
Got a little one who goes crazy for fire trucks, bulldozers and anything with really big wheels? Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 14, 2026, when the Junior League of New Orleans brings its popular TOUCH-A-TRUCK® event to its new home at the Alario Center in Westwego.
This is one of those rare days when kids are actually encouraged to touch everything! They’ll have the chance to climb aboard more than 30 impressive vehicles, from helicopters and fire engines to bulldozers, police cars and utility trucks. They can explore the driver’s seat, get an up-close look at how everything works and meet some of the hardworking people who keep our community running.
And who knows? You might have a future firefighter, pilot or construction engineer on your hands!
Something for Every Little Truck Lover
TOUCH-A-TRUCK® is designed for families of all kinds, with special hours to make the experience even more enjoyable.
Want to beat the crowds? VIP ticket holders can get in an hour early at 9 a.m. Families with children who are sensitive to noise and bright lights will appreciate the Sensory-Friendly Quiet Hour from 2 to 3 p.m., when horns and flashing lights take a break. And bargain hunters can take advantage of half-price tickets during the final hour, from 3 to 4 p.m.
Best of all, the fun supports a great cause. TOUCH-A-TRUCK® is a major fundraiser for the Junior League of New Orleans, helping support local programs focused on education, women’s health and economic opportunity.
