This November, why not make a multi-generational trek down to New Orleans? November is a wonderful month for strolling in New Orleans or taking a streetcar to the Garden District or City Park. Who’s hungry for New Orleans culture? This free celebration in Louis Armstrong Park on November 8th and 9th will have food, music, and dance–everything you love about this city. It just wouldn’t be fall, y’all, without the Treme Creole Gumbo Festival.
City Park will be covered in powdered sugar on November 15th for this festival featuring dozens of different kinds of beignet dishes, a Kids Village, an Artist Market, live music and more.
Get dressed like a po-boy for this festival which honors New Orleans’ most beloved sandwich. The fun will take place on November 16th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. this year and will feature live music, arts & crafts, and every kind of po-boy you can imagine. Come hungry, y’all.
Drive your car through a 25-acre wonderland of festive holiday lights draped in ancient live oak trees.

City Park is held nightly November 28-January 1. It’s a magical experience the whole family will love.
Along with the big game between Southern and Grambling on November 29th in the Caesars Superdome, the
