NOTE: FRENCH QUARTER FEST 2020 HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL OCTOBER 1-4.

April 16-19, 2020

French Quarter Fest is one of the best times to bring the kids to the Vieux Carré. Admission to “The Largest Showcase of Louisiana Music in the World” is FREE and it’s a great opportunity to introduce your kids to the music and culture you love.

Along with the French Quarter Fest Second-Line Kick-off Parade, fantastic music and a variety of New Orleans cuisine, there’s The Chevron Children’s STEM Zone. You’ll find the fun at Toulouse Street at the Natchez Wharf on the River between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday April 18th and Sunday, April 19th.

The Chevron “STEM World’s Fair” features lots of hands-on adventures showcasing the seven continents and the galaxy, all while incorporating elements of “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). And your whole family will love performances for kids and families on the National Park Service Stage.

French Quarter Fest has partnered with the following to create this family-friendly offering: Chevron, Audubon Nature Institute, The Water Institute, Project Lead the Way, FabLab NOLA, National WWII Museum, Rebuilding Together New Orleans, Mad Science LA, STEM NOLA, Children’s Museum of St. Tammany, The Nature Conservancy, and the National Parks Service. Learn more about French Quarter Fest.
